Bio:
Taylor Hudson is a multidisciplinary artist focused on the mediums of oil painting and photography. She is a 2022 BFA graduate of Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Her subject matter is about the body and viscera. She often uses digital collage images of surgeries to inform the forms within her work. Often the work is abstracted to the point that the original subject matter is fragmented but the aura of a body is still present. She currently resides in Everett, Wa originally from Vancouver, BC Canada. The Pacific northwest landscape also influences her work living near the coast. She intends to reside along the Pacific Northwest for the duration of her life.
She is always evolving her work, reworking and uncovering new ways to use visual language. She asks “What is my body? How does it feel to be in my body? How does the soul and body connect?”

We bring performances to small farms, tribal centers, immigrant communities, nursing homes, women's shelters, etc. to bring joy and levity into the air!

What the heck is a crane circus show?!
Well, our stage is a flatbed truck with hand cranked crane for aerial acts and a 100 yeaer old baby grand piano for live music!

What will the show be like?
Magic beyond magic! Flying pianos! Daring acrobats! Opera divas! this 1 hour all-ages show will be whimsical, beautiful, hilarious, and most of all . . . FUN!

How do you travel?
This year we are hitting the road with bicycles, the crane truck, and a camper van! Hope to see you down the road!

How much is the show?
Most of our shows are by donation pass-the-hat or free. Our goal is to bring the joy of circus to anyone and everyone, regardless of money.

A "Complicated" Life.

Christine Shannon is a local Everett artist who has been working in oils on large vintage canvases. The works are multi dimensional and trans linear conversations between the past and the present, leaning in towards future dialogue.
Christine has a unique ability to communicate her message via color and proportion, enabling the viewer a chance to discover the work in novel ways. By working over formerly completed canvas, she breaks down the original message, and convinces the work to speak for her.

Wolfson, (American b.1976): bold color and imagery on rugged, outcast panels, creating tension with cutting observation, industrial enamel paint and generic die cut font; these paintings are larger than life sized. The subject matter is at once tongue in cheek and heartbreaking, stripping bare intricate banalities, universally shared.
This collection represents work done before the artist moved to Zurich, Switzerland. In Europe, he cultivated a fan base and sold out a number of gallery shows. Once a resident of Artspace Everett Lofts, Wolfson is known and collected throughout Western Europe and the Everett area.

Come celebrate and support an ambitious new local arts project with an evening of music by three prominent Everett performers.

Black Lab Gallery and Rockafella Arts and Culture are excited to announce the Everett Artist Exchange. This autumn we will bring an artist from the City of Merida in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico to Everett for a 10 day artist residency. In return we will be sending an Everett artist to Merida for a residency with our partners there. At the end of their residencies, artists will give a public showing of their work. In future years we plan to invite larger groups of multidisciplinary artists to travel together and collaborate as part of the exchange. We believe this program is a small but important step in making the world a bit smaller by connecting Everett artists with the world, and connecting world artists to Everett.

EMANUEL BROWN’s sound is an embodiment and personification of the late 80s and early 90s entwined with new-age intensity, uniqueness and rawness. As a native of Newport News, E, Brown currently resides in Seattle, Washington where he is becoming a staple in the local Hip-Hop scene.

KINGDOW has been walking the path of music since the age of ten. After years playing bass in jazz, funk, and rock bands as a bass player, KingDow transitioned into a solo artist in 2018. He makes music reminiscent of styles he grew up on such as soul, reggae, and world, but strives to transcend genre and arrive at an entirely new sound.

JASON WEBLEY is a troubadour based in Everett, Washington. Beginning as a street performer in late 90s, Webley has built an international cult following for his songs and stories. Armed with an accordion, a guitar, a porkpie hat and a plastic vodka bottle full of pennies, he has performed in over forty countries and released a pile of records.

A limited number of Arts Patron VIP Tickets are available for $100, which include reserved seating, a beverage, snacks, and early admission to the venue with a meet and greet with the artists.

All proceeds from the concert are being donated to the Everett Artist Exchange and will go to cover airfare, supplies and an honorarium for the visiting artists. We have already received a grant from the Snohomish County Arts commission, and this event will raise the additional funds to make the Artist Exchange a reality.

Timothy Robert Graham is a songwriter, producer, and performer residing in Seattle, Washington. Recent pre-pandemic years have included shows in Austin, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle. Radio features, year end best-of-lists, and a growing number of co-writes and collaborators continue to share Timothy’s songs with a wider audience.

“The second solo album from this Seattle-based artist (and Motopony member) is a well-crafted set of brightly colored power pop, New Wave, and psych-pop.” -Don Yates, Music Director KEXP 90.3

Zach Kleisinger (Based in Vancouver, Canada) writes lyrically-driven songs in the contemporary, darkened-folk, singer-songwriter style. His words often feel like a bathroom mirror, while his compositions tend to conjure an emotion akin to the heartbreakers on Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks. The strength in Kleisinger’s songwriting is often described as a simple yet poetic intimacy, one that illustrates profound messages by magnifying the little things.

Since releasing his EP, I Hope It’s Calm, Then, in 2018, Kleisinger has established himself within the alt-folk music community, performing hundreds of concerts across Canada, the UK, and Europe. His live performances have gathered him a loyal audience, where the comfort of his warm baritone voice and magnetic songs are often juxtaposed, oddly and satisfyingly, by dry, unrehearsed humour.

Kleisinger’s latest record Their Symposium, was released in August 2021 via DevilDuck Records to widespread acclaim. Since its release, Their Symposium has charted on college radio across the US and Canada, received generous airplay on Canada’s nationally syndicated radio network CBC, and earned numerous publications in magazines such as Canadian Musician, Americana UK, Atwood, and American Pancake. In the deep sea of indie-folk songwriters, Zach Kleisinger is a true storyteller and entertainer, a narrator of raw emotions and real tales; ones that will draw you into an intimate, familiar world.

Shoecraft is an ambient folk/rock band from Everett, WA. Originally brought together in 2013, they have spent the better part of 9 years writing, recording and performing in primarily the Pacific Northwest.



2016 welcomed their inaugural album, The Whisper II - a collection of DIY musings inspired by Sufjan Stevens, Kings of Convenience and Dry the River. “Cheeks” was placed in the BBC’s Sport Relief coverage in 2018, and accumulated international traction via thousands of playlists both personal and curated. 



2021 brought their most recent record, The Great Regulator (Antifragile Music, NYC), which evidenced a more sonically mature Shoecraft - balancing DIY sentimentalities with rhythmic, ambient-rock studio jams.

Their present line-up includes: Jacob Baughman, Rachel Casel, Brandon Mackie, Anthony Baker and Trevor Church.
