This month’s Darkside we on our normal second Friday of the month. This Friday we bring DJ Oliver D'Place back up. Oliver is the only DJ to be a planned resident other than DJ Activate and they are like brothers. He’s an old friend to all of us and we can’t wait. He loves to come up and we love having him up. One thing we strongly suggest is that you come as you like and feel no pressure to dress up unless you want to. We know it's an especially hard time for many. You deserve a safe place that rejects the drama that exists due to the toxic nature found in other cities. That is why we’re trying to give you every chance to get in for less than we normally charge. That’s why we have a happy hour which will allow you to get a five-dollar all-night-long ticket for entry. We want you to have the best time possible and we really hope you feel comfortable and safe every time you go to Darkside. if you have felt out of place all your life, somehow you feel like you just found your home. We look forward to being that for you. We hope we can expand your horizons as well as help you have a better life. We do this because we’ve been in the same spot. Life can be hard, but if we can offer you a place where you can relax well that’s quite wonderful. Darkside should be an escape from the stress of the world. There will be live art and vending by Siodheln and other vendors in the back of the room. We will have our eighth Darkside cocktail hour and authentic Jamaican food being served by Krue from mamanatsjerkspot out of the Black Lab kitchen 7-9 p.m. just before Darkside. So feel free to join us for a drink and get a $5 ticket to get into Darkside all night long. Come for the food as well it’s quite delicious and they have vegan and vegetarian options.
